The atmosphere of the hotel was quiet and friendly. We loved the old furniture and quaintness of the building. Guests can come and go without being checked on. Lounge room was amazing - warm, comfortable and available for us to sit with our friends. Staff were non intrusive but there when needed and exceptionally, calmly helpful. When our flights out were delayed by ash cloud, it took a lot of stress from us to be able to extend our booking.
Tv in room pretty awful. I tried to watch Wimbledon but picture was poor

Generally, greatly enjoyed this unique accommodation with exceptionally pleasant staff who complied to a room change after request. The restaurant was nice with staff emptying bottles from restaurant here, I had savoury dishes. Marvellous location to attractions like Paddington, that was near the hotel. You could walk to a shopping area and various shops.
Didn't like the area, it was quite poor.

Our room was spotless and had everything we needed neatly arranged, like newspapers. The breakfast spread was impressive and made our mouths water. 🥐

The venue's position was very central. And not far from restaurants and a stadium, it was a bonus...

We had an easy check-in, the room was high standard with toiletries. Plenty of food for breakfast, which was amazing to satisfy everyone. The hotel was in a good and gorgeous location so close to galleries, Sydney's tourist attractions and transport, and great restaurants and shops.

We stayed in the hotel about ten years ago when attending a wedding, and this visit was for the same reason. The hotel is close to Bondi Junction where we had to go, is comfortable and has a casual and friendly atmosphere you don't get at the big name hotels. The staff were ready to help with all our requests whether it was to work the TV, call a cab, or arrange early breakfast. We had a beaut meal one night and were relaxed during the whole of our stay. We would stay there again when next in Sydney.
